Overview of JavaScript
JavaScript is the language of the web. It runs in browsers and on servers (Node.js). You use it to make pages interactive, talk to APIs, and build full apps — including the MERN stack.
- Standardized as ECMAScript (ES).
- Runs in the browser without a separate compiler.
- Also runs on Node.js for backends and tooling.
